A pretty cosy venue which sits only 1600 and of course given S.H.E’s huge fan base, one show is not enough and a second show had to be added on the afternoon of the same day.
And because the DVD of the same show in Taipei was already released prior to this showcase in Singapore, the level of surprise is almost zero since the songs she sang was almost the same.
The biggest bonus for the Singapore showcase is that Olivia is the guest singer! :D
Together, they sang How Deep is Your Love.
Ever since Olivia joined S.H.E’s record company and Hebe releasing the solo album, I’ve been wondering if the two will ever have a chance to perform together and finally it happened! :)
This is not a bad rendition but would have been even better if Hebe can get her English pronunciation right (which will probably not happen since she’s been speaking Mandarin her whole life).
And chemistry between the two of them is just not there, but thankfully both of them are good singers so it didn’t turn out bad.
And it’s really a pity that I was at the night show and she sang this only at the afternoon show – A very good rendition of Mavis Hee’s 遺憾.
I really don't know why she decide not to sing this song for the night show. The night show was suppose to be the first show and shouldn't she give this special privilege to the people who made the second show possible?! Tsk.
She sang a total of 11 English songs and although her English is improving with each show - I still very much prefer her singing Mandarin and i hope her next showcase (if she ever have another one) will consist of more Mandarin songs.
