So i finally watched this..
The way the film is made... no wonder need so much moolah!
I have never read / watch any drama on Three Kingdoms before.
My knowledge of Three Kingdoms is probably restricted to only knowing the names of the famous characters like Zhuge Liang, Cao Cao, Sun Quan, Liu Bei, Guan Yu etc.. :p
I guess you'll enjoy the film more if you don't have prior knowledge of Three Kingdoms because you'll not be bothered with comparing.
And that's probably why the film was highly entertaining for me :)
The Eight Triagrams Formation was indeed an eye-opener.
All the war scenes were super amazing also!
No bomb no gun, anything also can be a weapon..
Even Light can be a weapon! Damn happening!
I'm kind of disturbed by how Takeshi Kaneshiro played Zhuge Liang.
The way he walk....... Oh man, gay -.-
But this does not reduce my liking for Takeshi. Keke :p
Anyway, my fave character in Red Cliff has to be Zhao Yun!!
He's so brave and man and dashing and soooo convincing as a hero from that era! :D
This must be one of the few long films which actually feel short.
The 2.5hrs really didn't feel like it at all!
At the end of the film, my movie kaki said.. "Huh? What is this!?"
Damn hilarious :p
Anyway, looking forward to the second part! :)
