Holding a concert on a Friday night, means you gotta allow more time for the audience to be late since it's a working day.
And i conclude that SIS is really quite hard a place to get to.
I went with my brother and we were at Orchard prior to the concert.
After thinking how hard it is to get there by bus, we decided to cab there.
Those round things, they are suppose to represent planets.
The theme of the concert is 第十行星 - The 10th Planet.
I've no idea why the concert is themed as that though, but they have a song in the new album which is titled as this.
They opened with 無限.
Quite an appropriate song to open with since there's an OS in this song that says.. We are F.I.R~
And it was a few of their high rock songs before they turned to some of their love (but still kind of rock) songs.
Indian-indian segement.
你的微笑 is the key song of this segment.
Faye did some dancing and her dancing not too bad leh! Keke..
My fave segement - Unplugged.
I think the sound system could have been better.
And it doesn't help that i was having a very bad headache.
So I think this segment helped to relieve it a bit :)
Faye was super emo when she was singing this song - 应许之地
And then, it was the segment that got a lot of girls crazy - the introduction of the special guest, Jam 蕭敬騰．The two girls sitting beside me, i didn't know they brought their cameras until this fella appeared and they start snapping frantically.
He sang "We Will Rock You" with F.I.R before they went to change and he sang two more of his own songs from his album.
I agree that he is a good singer, but just not the kind i'll like.
So it was toilet break for me :P
Thereafter, it was a few damn high rock songs - including Neverland.
And i think for a singer, nothing beats having the whole concert hall sing your song. 我們的愛 was the 'stadium anthem' for the night.
Kinda shiok to hear the audience sing a song together, nicely without shouting :)
And for Encore, they sang three songs including Lydia.
Fly Away was the ending song.
Patriotic huh~
Not bad a concert.
The crowd was good also, especially the people sitting at the Premier area.
They really can get high without chiding!
Great people to have at a concert :)
Talking: 5/10 (they really lack in the speech department)
Singing: 7/10 (faye was good, but if she can have better stamina, she'll be even better)
Stage + 3D animation: 8/10 (there's really quite a bit of effort put in it)
Selection of songs: 7/10 (they didn't sing some of my fave like 眷戀 )
Sound system: 5/10 (really kinda bad, i think it was too loud. can be killing at times)
