Here are my fave Cheena albums for 2007~:
1) Tanya 蔡健雅 - [Goodbye & Hello]
From an ang moh rocker to a chinese balladeer and occasional rocker. She even pen her own chinese lyrics now! And not 1 or 2, but 7 songs were penned by her!!
In 當你離開的時候, her voice is wooo soooo nice and the guitar play after the first chorus is wooo shiok~ :D
2) Deserts 張懸 - [親愛的...我還不知道]She used to sing in Taiwan pubs. This is her 2nd album. Not a 100% pop album for the mass, but definitely worth a listen.
The Taiwan media says she's Faye Wong no.2, i'll say she's even more attitude but she's not proud. A sample of this album.
3) Stefanie 孫燕姿 - [逆光]
Unlike some other singers who'll stick to the same old 'pattern' for every album. She's one who'll strive to experiment with new stuff.
This album has got some nice emo songs. Old already, these kinda songs very appealing to me you know, like 我懷念的. Damn shiok!~
4) Christine 范瑋琪 - [哲學家]
She's really damn good at singing songs to heal the wound of the broken-hearted and also those that sing praises of friendship. Seems like a trademark for her, but she's doing a good job out of it :)
And i dunno how she can make it seem like her songs are easy to sing.. Trust me, it's not easy! If you still wanna try at ktv, here's 是非題.
5) S.H.E - [PLAY]Yes, it's them again. Well, this is quite a breakthrough album for them, considering that their conservative record co. finally gave the green light to put their works in this album.
Ella wrote the melody while Selina pen the lyrics for 老婆. Hebe wrote the lyrics for 說你愛我. I'm not biased, the lyrics is really quite good.
And on number 6 to 10, we have:
6) Cheer 陳綺貞 - [花的姿態]
She's really really really a very gooood live performer.
7) Peggy 許哲佩 - [許願盒]
Her 2nd album after a long while. Still as weird, still as good :)
8) Lee Hom 王力宏 - [改變自己]
Less chink-out and closer to the heart, i like him like that :)
9) Various Artistes - [斗牛要不要OST]
A drama soundtrack with very good choice of songs, including instrumental pieces.
10) Angela 張韶涵 [Ang 5.0]
Avoid her fast numbers, her slow songs are actually not too bad.
