Morning Glory

This is the usual feel-good film. Very predictable storyline.
Nevertheless, this movie is still very entertaining.

The excellent chemistry between the actors and strong casting contributed a lot to making this movie very enjoyable. Especially love the on-screen chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Harrison Ford.

Rachel McAdams is the work-obsessed TV producer who loves her job more than her boyfriend and Harrison Ford plays the grumpy egoistic award winning ex-journalist. The bickering between Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton (beauty queen turned diva news anchor) was pretty comical as well.

And there's also the comedic moments where the poor weatherman was made to do everything and anything out of what a weatherman should do - just to boost the viewership of the dying morning show.

Watched this on a Friday night with a couple of colleagues.
At the end of the movie, we were discussing about what's more appealing - a job with better prospects or a good working environment (i.e. good working colleagues) or just pursuing your dream/passion and ignoring everything else.

For me, I'm at a stage where I'm pretty clueless. No dream, no passion. Very pathetic cos I don't even know what i want much less be able to pursue it.

And I've also learnt that no matter where you go, when you leave a job - it's the people that you leave behind, be it a good boss or nice colleagues that you hang out with. This is especially so when you've been in the same job for a long time and foster close friendship with your colleagues. If you're lucky, you might still get a good boss in your next job but the colleagues you hang out with.. it'll just not be the same.
