Japan Japan!

Day 5 (2 Dec) - Early bird catches the worm.

And in our case, early bird gets to eat nice sashimi!

We woke up at 6am for Tsukiji Market, could've been earlier but since the tuna auction which starts at 5.30am is no longer open to public for viewing, we are saved from waking up even earlier.

Nevertheless, it was an eye-opener to see the busy market at work.

And if you're planning to visit Tsukiji Market, please be very alert cos there're a lot of moving trucks and vehicles in the market.. so even if you're very sleepy, still must keep your eyes open!

We had sashimi and sushi for breakfast, something you'll never do in Singapore :p
The sashimi at the restaurant in Tsukiji Market is really very fresh!
The salmon and tuna cut is unlike those you see in the Japanese restaurants in Singapore.

After Tsukiji, we went back to the hotel for a quick nap and got out again in the noon.
The rest of the day was spent at Ueno Park (where we had sweet potatoes & free food samples for lunch at this pasar malam like place) and more shopping and random eating at Shibuya!
