And it's not the bloody scenes which are disturbing but how it reflects so truly of the society now.

I like how the movie started with Takako Matsu's long, calm but shocking confession.
Her confession?
She injected HIV-positive blood into milk cartons of two of her students who killed her daughter but they were not punished by the law as they're too young to be prosecuted and her daughter's death was ruled as accident and so, she took things into her own hands and decided to "punish" the two students in her own way.
This started off the movie with the two students reacting very differently from her confession and the chain of events that followed after.

Some might think that the story is too absurd.
In these recent years, we've seen the news reporting on so many of young kids, parents and even teachers (and many others) turning violent/psycho for whatever reason it is - the film is a true reflect of how screwed up the society is now and this is probably even more apparent in Japan, where everyone strives/is expected to be perfect.
And the sadder truth is that, it's impossible for the society to be better but definitely easier for it to get worse.
The music/songs used in the movie was obviously carefully selected and they just gel so well with the film. Great cinematic effects too.
This is definitely one of the best movie this year and it's no wonder that this film is a feature in lots of film festivals.
I'll end this off by saying.. Watch this movie and feel sad but come back to reality and treasure whatever you have now cos life is really unpredictable.
