From Bangkok to Malacca and now Universal Studios Singapore, we heard that the offsite budget is decreasing every year and that the company is not allowing any overseas trip this year.
Later on we found out that other department are planning overseas trips. And actually the truth behind it is that the head of the welfare committee is just plain lazy. Like wth.
And just you thought it was bad enough, we only know 4 days before the trip that the welfare committee did not not even charter buses to pick us from office to RWS which they initially said they will! Totally ridiculous.
Anyhow, we are not letting this dampen our mood for the precious offsite.
In the end, our unit chartered our own bus to pick us from office to RWS.
Each of us paid $2 and it was good as it would have been pretty crowded on Sentosa Express or the RWS buses.
We reached USS at 10 and made our way in by 10.30am and started our 12 hours of adventure at USS - made possible by the rainy and cool weather. We covered all the shows and almost all the rides but we missed one (Accelerator, Disney's equivalent of Mad Hatter's Teacups) which in my opinion was negligible.
It was all fun and enjoyable and most importantly we get a day off from crazy work! :D
photos coming soon!~
