George Clooney is Ryan Bingham, a high living corporate axe-man, who makes his living flying from city to city firing people for bosses who don`t have the stomach to do it themselves. Bingham cherishes his life on the road, allowing him to enjoy a commitment free life, as well as the occasional tryst with women like Alex (Vera Farmiga). His lifestyle is jeopardized when his boss (Jason Bateman), hires a young IT expert named Nathalie (Anna Kendrick) who plans on using streaming video conferencing to make people like Ryan obsolete.
Prior to watching the movie, i've come across synopsis of this movie and it actually says this is a drama-comedy. After watching the movie, i certainly won't categorize this as a comedy but however, this movie have some good humour with a powerful and well-scripted story. Definitely more drama than comedy
George Clooney is the corporate axe-man who seems to be very sure of what he wants in life. However, it just takes two woman - one young one old to make him realign his thoughts about life.
This is one movie that will get you thinking on what's happening in your own life and what you really want. But, it's definitely not an uplifting feel-good movie. If you're not careful and dwell too much into it, you'll end up being damn emo about it.
Great casting and acting.
This is a fantastic film not to miss - Highly recommended for everyone to watch this! :)
