After 3 Months

So.. I've been learning the guitar for 3 months, i guess i should do a little update.
This will also serve as a log for myself to keep track of my (slow) progress :x

Let me disclaim first - I'm still not able to play a song.

For some reason in the first two months of learning, i had a hard time trying to remember how chords are pressed. And it was only very recent that i managed to plant these chords in my pathetic brain - G C Em D and A.

I'm learning group guitar and my classmate are two guys who are like 4 years younger than me. And it's really strange but i can grab theory very fast as compared to the two younger guys but when it comes to the practical, i really suck at it.

I really need to allocate more time to practice.
Otherwise, the progress would forever be very slow.
Shall quote my guitar instructor (Nic): "Can one can one! 加油加油!"

And on Saturday, Nic was using a Gibson Hummingbird.
It belongs to his friend and he let us try out the guitar.
I came to know of Gibson Hummingbird cos it's Cheer Chen's favourite.

After trying it out, i can totally understand why Cheer Chen is so in love with it.
It's really such a pretty and "clean" guitar! Really damn shiok!
But well, costs $4.4k, if you're paying so much for a guitar, it better be good!

And after seeing the Gibson Hummingbird, i told myself that i better don't get too good at guitar. Otherwise, i can totally foresee myself splurging on a good guitar.
ANYWAY, judging from my current progress, i doubt i'll ever be anywhere near Good! :x
