I Must Watch These Movies..

Genius mathematician and high school teacher Tetsuya Ishigami (Shinichi Tsutsumi) has taken a fancy towards Hanaoka Yasuko, a lady working at a bento store. When he learns that Yasuko and her daughter have killed a person, he then helps the two of them to construct the perfect alibi. The police investigation runs into difficulty and Detective Kaoru Utsumi (Kou Shibasaki) seeks the advice of his friend, the brilliant physicist Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama). Ishigami is Yukawa's college friend. A fierce battle breaks out between the genius mathematician and genius physicist.

Daigo Kobayashi's life takes a turn when the band he played in is disbanded. Left with no job, Daigo, a cellist decides to move back to his hometown. At his hometown, he gets a job working as an undertaker, where he sees himself as the gatekeeper between the living and the dead. Through his job, he discovers the meaning of life and what it is all about..

FYI, Departures won the Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film.
This is my type of movie - talks about life and death.

K-20 is simply because of Takeshi.

Suspect X's plot sounds interesting and it's based on a very successful Japanese drama - Detective Galileo.

I hope i don't miss these movies AGAIN!
I missed Red Cliff II and i'm still regretting it :(
It is the kind of movie that you MUST watch in movie theatre to get the full cinematic effects!
