Sosuke is a five year old boy who lives on a cliff.
One day, he rescues a strange looking goldfish and names her Ponyo after taking a great liking to her, and promises to protect her forever.
Unknown to him, Ponyo is a magic fish and she decides that she wants to live with Sosuke.
Unfortunately, Ponyo's decision to give up her underwater life creates a crack in an ancient magic spell and places the world in danger. Together, Sosuke and Ponyo must set things right.

This movie is by the same guy who did Spirited Away - Hayao Miyazaki.
I didn't watch Spirited Away but i must say Ponyo is CUTE!
Not just the fish (Ponyo) who is cute, but the entire movie is just so cute~~~

The cutest character must be Sosuke, the little boy.
He's like every parent's dream - The good, courteous and smart boy! :D
Apparently, Hayao Miyazaki drew Sosuke like how his son look like at 5 yrs old.
Do not expect this to be an adventure film.
The film-makers obviously wanted to target the kids for this movie too, so the part where Sosuke and Ponyo are supposed to 'make things right', they still need to consider the kids watching it.
Ponyo can run very fast on the water~
Anyway, this is still a good film.
The kind you'll go out of the theatre feeling happy about :)
