Magic Potion - Caribbean Cruisin': Cruise to the Caribbean beat with our French Vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream, chopped nuts & wafer fan with a side of Amarula potion.
Amarula is a South African cream liqueur made with sugar, cream and the fruit of the African Marula tree (Sclerocarya birrea) which is also locally called the Elephant tree or the Marriage Tree.
I actually wanted to try the liqueur by itself first, but my friends stopped me.
And thank goodness i didn't, cos i think the taste will be too much to take on its own. Tastes like a mix of caramel and coffee.. It's really nice with the ice-cream :)
