Went City Hall that day and saw the nearly half-built Singapore Flyer.
It's really HUGE.
In the website, this is what was said:
The Singapore Flyer is a world-class visitor attraction,
fusing a massive engineering structure to an iconic sculpted building.
Its centrepiece is the giant observation wheel from which visitors can
experience some of the best views in the entire region.
Leafie says:
The Singapore Flyer is a humongous Ferris Wheel
which lets you see Indonesia and Malaysia in pathetically tiny views.
Some facts and figures:
Diameter of the wheel: 150 metres
Height: 165 metres (the height of a 42-storey building)
Duration of ride: 37 minutes
Admission Price: $29.50 for adult (normal rate)
Each capsule sits about 28 - 30 pax.
Actually, i feel $29.50.. is ok leh.
I mean the DHL balloon justify this rate you know.
The DHL balloon is up and down.. and nothing!
At least this one, you can go round and round for 37mins and quite nice views la!
Anyway, i showed one fella this site and she said:
"37 mins! I can imagine a lot of babies made in it."
Muahahahha.. GOT FUNNIE!!
