Pinoy Sunday

Once again, not the typical type of film i'll watch. Actually, I'm not even a fan of Taiwan films, there has been just too many disappointments.

The only reason why i wanted to watch this is only because it talks about foreign workers and this seems like a light hearted comedy from the trailer and of course, the biggest reason is cos it's set in Taiwan.

The story revolves around an abandoned red sofa that the two Filipino workers (the two male leads) were trying to bring back to their worker's quarters.

The movie did a good job of bringing forth a common problem that people are facing now - the red sofa symbolizes the dreams, responsibilities and worries we have. And what the story is trying to tell is that we should know when to move forward and that life is an ongoing journey and we should learn to put down the "sofas"  in us and take a break when we need to.

Really a great movie and this lights back a little hope in me that Taiwan movie ain't all crap afterall :)
