Somehow, this sounds like the kid who scored 10/10 for his Spelling test and gets a star for the perfect score. Haha!
Despite facing the rough Dutch players, Spain kept their cool and stood by their tactics, striking only at the right chance.
The game went into extra time and just when everyone thought the game will go into a penalty shootout. Iniesta scored one precious goal just four minutes before the extra time ended and that one goal dashed Holland's hopes and brought Spain to world champs status.
Spain proved that it takes skills, tactics and patience to win a game and not through offensive play like what Holland did.
I feel Spain could have won at full time.
There were a few lost opportunities on free kicks.
Nevertheless, it was still a fantastic play by them.
Iniesta was the hero of the game but Spain would not have lasted till extra time if not for Casillas crucial saves. Casillas took on Robben one-on-one not once, but twice. Captain Casillas totally deserves the Golden Glove award! I love ya, Casillas! :p
This year's World Cup is definitely memorable and the jacket.. it was all worth it :)
