On Valentine's Day, i watched Valentine's Day.. Or is it on Chinese New Year eve / first day of Chinese New Year that i watched? It's a 11.35pm midnight show and I'm confused! lol!
With such a star-studded cast and a theme revolving around Valentine's Day.
You'll know that this is a see, be entertained for two hours and forget movie.
Nevertheless, it was a pretty entertaining movie to watch with a group of friends :)
Since there's nothing much to wow about the storyline, I shall just do a summary of the stars' performance:
Jennifer Garner is so attractive!
I was actually pretty tired cos it was a long Saturday for me and she's the one who kept me awake throughout the movie.
I guess she's not really the kind that everyone will like but after Juno i'm both attracted and impressed by her. And now with this movie, i shall make it a point to watch every movie of hers from now on! :D
Julia Roberts is stunning.
She don't have to do much, just sit there in the plane the entire time and do her lines and even though her role was pretty much of a cameo, she still manages to steal every scene she was in. And the one scene with her son was so brief yet so touching that it made me tear! Tsk.
Ashton Kutcher is understated.
Or at least to me. Whenever i read about him on the papers or magazines, they always make it sound like he's a '花瓶' and can't really act. But i think he did pretty well in this role.
Anne Hathaway is hilariously good in her role of a receptionist whose sideline is an adult phone entertainer. She's so damn versatile!
Taylor Swift is funny as the oddball who's madly in love with Taylor Lautner.
She can make a good comedian.
And Bradley Cooper is soooo charming.
I like the twist at the end and how the theatre went awwhhh... lol!
Jessica Alba is calefare.
They were obviously out to cheat when they put her face on the movie poster.
I don't think she added much value to the movie :x
