My first theatre experience at Esplanade.
Starring: Denise Ho, Ariel Lin, David Wang
The title tells it all, this is about man and woman - it's a screwball comedy about why man and woman fight.
Very well-scripted and tight production with a fantastic cast.
Great acting by everyone in the cast and i really think it's not easy to do theatre - Imagine there's no NGs, no retakes unlike TV! You really need to have full focus and concentration. And the worst thing is that most theatre actors don't earn as much as TV actors!
And we got very good seats, we are like 7 rows away from the stage and so we have a very good view of whatever is happening on stage :)
A good first-time experience and looking forward to the next Huayi Festival!
Hopefully Edward Lam will be back with another good production :)
The only thing that i want to complain is the uncomfortable seat at Esplanade.
The show was 220 minutes, including a 20-min intermission! Freaking long..
And in the end, I came out of the theatre with a happy soul (for watching a good play) BUT aching back! -.-
