There's four new colleagues in my team.
All sales. All guys.
The cubicle i am in can sit six and two of them sits in my cubicle now.
One is a hardworking and nice guy and the other is really too chatty to be a guy...
There used to be four of us sitting in the cubicle.
We chat, we make jokes but it was all good.
Never once did i feel that any of my colleague is making too much noise or that they are being irritating.
Now, R is sitting behind me.
It's not so bad cos there's a partition blocking us BUT the partition blocks the sight but not the noise. He talks damn a lot!!
I really feel like telling him that there's a fine line between being eloquent and being idiotically talkative and sadly, he falls on the dark side. I really really hate talkative guys.
And to make it worse, he likes to talk about very guy topics.
This afternoon, he was talking about the Singtel Grid Girls and S Factor and was commenting that he know a few girls in S Factor, those uglier ones. I was thinking in my mind： “Hello, you very handsome meh??"
Throughout all the 'speeches' he made, i didn't join in the chat and was just waiting for him to shut up.
And a few moments later, i don't know what he was saying and what my other colleague replied but he later continued to comment in relation to the S Factor girls topic: "Aiya, all of you married already what, either married or going to get marry. K and B married with kids, T newly married, L going to get marry. And Huimin is not a lesbian blah blah blah..." When i heard my name, i was highly irritated. Hellooo.. you can talk nonsense all you want, but please don't mention my name lor!
And after that, i email L and tell him how noisy this R is.
He is supposed to make cold-calls to companies and i seriously don't know why he can have the time to chat. And his boss is sitting just beside him yet he is daring enough to chat openly in front of him.
L later forwarded the same email to K (talkative R's boss) and copied me.
K said: "Ya, i know.. I might be busy on the phone but i know that he has been chatting. I wanna take out my whip already!"
Good!! Good!! Whip him!!
Talkative guys should be whipppppped!!!
