Our Merlion is injured!
The lightning struck on it and damaged part of its head as reported by CNA.
Indeed, the lightning on Saturday was really quite scary.
I was in Orchard when it was pouring and there were at least two occasions when the lightning struck and i thought that it was like soooo near!
The weather has been erratic the past few days, do carry an umbrella when you are out.

And i guess everyone knows about today's big news, the NTU lecturer who was being stabbed and the student who commited suicide after stabbing the lecturer.
It's scary that it is happening in Singapore huh..
Isn't it such a pity that a young life ended this way?
When we're angry, we are less rational and act irrationally.
Emotions will come and go and any unhappiness will resolve eventually.
The world will really be a better place if everyone can just pause for a minute before they act irrationally..
