This movie caused a major hype in Taiwan.
It is so popular in Taiwan that it became the 2nd top grossing film in Taiwan's cinematic history, behind Titanic. Amazing huh..
I personally feel that it has been over-hyped.
They are like trying do too many things in a 2-hour film.
Character development was bad too.
Then again, as a Taiwan film, i can totally understand why it became such a big hit in Taiwan. It's just like how 881 can be a huge hit in Singapore but the Taiwanese might not appreciate it as much.
But well, it can be subjective la..
I might dislike it but all the other people i heard who watched, actually love it.
So well, those who wanna watch, can go watch and judge it yourself :)
Anyway, i think Shino Lin and the little girl who acted as her daughter are really good :)
Shino don't have a heavy role inside, but the way she presented her role - You will really be drawn to her to want to know more about her character in the movie :)
