This Saturday, i'll be extracting my front tooth! :x
There's swelling on the gum above the tooth caused by the dead nerve.
The tooth will give me more problem if i don't extract it now.
And how did the nerve die...
It was due to the trauma when i fell and broke my tooth when i was a kid.
And I shall stop here about my ugly yellowish fake (whatever you want to call it) tooth history...
Although i can say i have high threshold for pain..
But trust me, the anesthesia injection.. is painful!!
I just experienced it last Sat, I did a Root Canal Treatment but it won't help anymore cos my tooth is beyond hope.
But well, the pain is really for that few seconds cos thereafter, you won't feel a thing, which is good in a way.
I even need to start eating antibiotics tomorrow to prepare for the extraction.
And doctor says, i might experience swelling for 2 to 3 days, so i'll most probably MC on Monday.
And after the extraction, it'll be stronger antibiotics and painkillers!
Arrghhhhh... Torture!
By the way, i won't go toothless.
Right after the extraction, i'll be fixed with a bridge.
Once the wound is healed in about 4 to 5 months, i'll have to do an implant.
So this whole process will probably take one year to complete.
Torture x100 !! :s
p/s: The dentist that will be restoring my smile is Dr Steven Ang @ The Smile Division. Quite a nice guy.. Do look for him if you need to fix an appointment for your checkup :)
