Accuracy of Death

Takeshi Kaneshiro is the Grim Reaper named Chiba.
He appears seven days before a person dies an unexpected death and his job is to observe and decide whether to 'proceed' or 'suspend' the death.
For those who don't know, this movie is actually based on a Japanese novel.

Music is human's greatest invention as said by the death god in the film :)

The difference between a movie and novel is that, a movie does not have all the time in the world to 'tell the story'. But i love how the film starts and it gave a good overview of the Grim Reaper's role within a short span of time.

Three interconnected stories over a few decades make up the whole film.
In each story, there's a person who is Chiba's 'target'.

Chiba's first target is this woman who works in a 'call centre' of an electronics company. The second target is a mafia leader and the third, a 70-year-old hairdresser.

I know i have said this many times, but i shall repeat again that Japanese are really very good filmmakers.

The way they take note of every little detail and how they emphasize on the aesthetics of the film, it just makes you feel good watching it :)

And with the wonderful storyline and casting of Takeshi as the Grim Reaper, 'Accuracy of Death' is accurately PERFECT :)
