Caught this last Sat after dinner with a gang of friends..
We had nothing better to do and we browsed through the movies and decided on this cos my friend said: "Keira Knightley's movie should be not too bad."
I think the movie was not too bad.. But i think my friends thought otherwise. I dunno is it the 1930s setting, the plot or the lack of character depth in the movie.. Or maybe this is just not the kinda movie for a gang.
I'll agree that it's not for everyone cos you'll really need patience to wait for the important climax of the movie which comes like REALLY late.
I like the twist to the story and it is also the same twist that switched me from a hater to a lover for the movie :)
Shall find the novel...
But, i think even if i managed to get the novel, i'll just somehow... end up not reading it :p
