The V Conference

Went to watch this just now..

Compliments of my friend, who couldn't make it
cos she had to be home for Mid-Autumn family gathering.

Starring: Irene Ang
Guest Starring: Chua En Lai
Directed by: Beatrice Chia
Written by: Mr Miyagi

It was not too bad.. VERY funny and very feminist to a certain extent.
But it's really like what Irene Ang mentioned, pure nonsense fun.
They paid tribute to successful woman (or purely distinctive woman in one way or another) by form of diggin' at them.

Some 'victims' were Guanyin (yes, that goddess Guanyin!),
Simone de Beauvoir, Florence Nightingale, Hua Mulan, Joan of Arc,
Li Jiawei, Pan Meichen, S.H.E etc..

Chua Enlai is really very funny & he is SUPER convincing as a girl.
Imagine Mulan and Joan of Arc wearing the same costume
and saying exactly the same thing but in different language and accent.
How not to be funny!?
I think i like him more after watching this. Haha!

Mindee Ong & Yeo Yann Yann (881) were there in the audience also.
Both of them look better in person :)

And ah.. Actually, I don't like the after-feeling of watching a comedy.
You'll laugh heartily for that one hour or so..
But you'll come out after that feeling as empty as before.
It's like a 'cheap' way to make yourself happy temporarily.
That's also the reason why i hardly watch comedy movies.

Oh.. and ya, hi my friends~
I'm still alive :)
