Today is a significant day.
It marks the busiest day for me at work.
And it also marks the most unlucky day for me.
At least for the month of August, i'm quite sure.
Why busy?
Cos the whole department went for offsite at Bangkok,
leaving a few people behind and i happen to be one of the poor thing.
So my superior at work is not around, and i answered SO MANY phone calls without knowing what was communicated between the caller and my superior.
>> Moral of the story: Always fight to go for offsite to avoid clearing people's shit or if not, take leave or MC.
And today, I also kuku-ly left my office cabinet keys at home!
Working in a bank, everything and anything links back to compliance and confidential. So we can't leave our unfinished work on the table.
We must LOCK our unfinished work and make sure that the stuff on our table will not possibly cause our clients to lose their fortune (as if -.-).
So anyway, i only realised when i reach Newton MRT and so..
I alighted at Orchard MRT and went all the way back home to get the keys.
Reach office: 10.40am.. Damn kuku-ed -.-
>> Moral of the story: Be less a kuku, always check your bag.
And today, I was informed by a colleague from another department that i have calculation on my Excel sheet!
Excel sheet leh!! Summation only!! Calculation error!?
I went back and check my file, the formula is totally correct.
But when i went to get the piece of paper back, the summation is really wrong! Got ghost!
Have yet to check if there's hidden cells or numbers within the sheet, shall 'clean' it up tomorrow.
>> Moral of the story: Never trust Excel sheets passed down from others, always CREATE YOUR OWN!
