Starting new job..
Yea, i got a job after slacking for one month plus
(minus one week that i part-time).
Cinema Executive with GV
The cinema executive’s role will cover the day-to-day operations
of a cinema multiplex. Assisting the manager, the job would include
staff management, facility management, equipment maintenance, film
scheduling and inventory management to ensure smooth execution of
operational duties to achieve overall customer satisfaction.
Training will be provided for those selected.
Actually, i don't really know what went through my mind when i decided to apply for this job. Maybe the job scope sounds interesting and there seems to be a lot to learn and hopefully i'll like the job / industry / environment and stay there for long ;)
Good of the job:
>> 5-day rotating shift
- No need to wake up at a fixed time every weekday and feel like a robot rushing for the bus/train everything :)
- Weekday off day means i'll probably be the only one who is having off on a weekday = Nobody to go out with = Spend lesser $ = Save $$
Bad of the job:
>> 5-day rotating shift
- Weekends and PHs might be gone!! :(
The good and bad like contradicting huh..
But at least what i am sure is, this job is not as deskbound as those i used to have before.
First three months, i'll be at PS doing training.
No, don't try to ask me for free movie tickets cos i don't know if there is or not.
For the first month, I'll be an overpaid ticket seller / candy bar crew. Keke..
According to the Training Manager, need to learn the job of the crew to manage them in future. So she said, get to know them but don't get too close to them. Tsktsk..
Hopefully, this job will go well and good :)
