Recently, there's a lot of hoohah about Starhub's fees hike.
For the benefit of those who don't know yet..
1. $4 increase in Basic Group and Value Pack subscription fees (wef Jul 07)
2. $10 increase in Sports Group subscription fees (wef Oct 07)
So this means for those who have Sports Group,
it's an additional $14 per month from Oct onwards.
Time to drop those sports channels man..
And StarHub is not giving their customers any way out!
Should you decide to terminate the service,
they'll charge you for early termination if the contract is still ongoing.
This is despite advice from CASE that they should allow subscribers
to opt out due to the increment in the subscription fees,
StarHub is standing firm on charging the early termination.
And why are they being so firm?
It's because there's no competitors!
That's why they think they can do anything and people will still subscribe to StarHub Cable cos there's no other pay-TV operator we can go to!!
Sickening ass!!!
Let us all wait for the day another player comes in, we'll all SWITCH!
