This morning, my colleague said a story.
Something about a family celebrating a kid's birthday
at a restaurant and when someone asked where the kid is,
they said the kid is at home. And then that person who
asked where the kid is, said: It's like celebrating
Christmas without knowing what it means..
Great relationship huh.
I think it's like totally different thing lor! -.-
How can you celebrate someone's birthday when that person
is not around!? But hey.. you don't need to know what
Christmas really is in order to celebrate it lor!
People eat dumplings and mooncakes without knowing
the stories behind it too, isn't it!?
Anyway, my colleague wanted to start preaching about
Christmas but i think she realised she'll turn us off
so she didn't.
But anyway, as a non-Christian, i think what Christmas is,
it ain't really important to me. The more important thing
should be the fact that we have public holiday on that day! :p
Although Christmas has been very much commercialised.
And it seems kinda fake that we only share and give
at such a season. But face it, as you grow older, you
get busier with whatever you wan to pursue.
And things like that is really a good opportunity
to let your friends and family know that you still do care.
So... don't think too much of what Christmas is, just enjoy!! :D
But what i wanna know is..
who the heck invented cheesy Christmas songs!?
Yes... I ain't a fan of them -.-
