Just for 'complaining' purpose, this is what the whole story is about:
Agent Axx asked us to quote rates for her clients some time last week.
My colleague, L gave her the quotes shortly after and Agent Axx
only got back to us on Fri morning that she wanted accommodation,
transfer and transport for her guests at three different cities.
FYI, her guests are checking in to the first city on Sun.
My colleague L, got everything done for her and booking was confirmed.
And on Sat came this terrific message.
Look at the time and date she emailed!
WHO WILL PICK UP THE CALL IN THE OFFICE?
CASPER OR SADAKO!?!?!
What bloody do they take us for?!?
7-11?! Operate 24hrs!?!
Even if we do operate 24hrs, our supplier doesn't!
But...... Hell.. Even my manager thinks that
there are suppliers who are on standby 24hrs!
When he called me to ask me about this cancellation,
i was so stunned by his question about our India operator on 24hrs standby!
Fark. Crap.
This is worse than being police.
It's not a life or death matter and
yet people expect you to be on 24hrs standby.
I really HATE this industry.
It's not like you don't deal with shit in other places,
but this is way absurd!!
I'm set on getting out of this bloody industry.
Even if my ongoing stuff is gone, i'll still leave by Feb 2007.
Trust me, i won't procrastinate this time.
