World Trade Center

Went to catch the movie last nite..
Third film of the year after Poseidon
and that famous gay mountain. muahahha..

My colleague went to watch and she said the
film is not nice, a lot of talking.

I think it wasn't too bad.
At least a 7/10.

Some people might think that the crash came too fast.
People who enjoy more foreplay maybe :P
But i think it was ok.
Cos the main focus of the flim was on the rescuing and
how the two main leads kept each other going.

Others who didn't read the outline of the movie
might want the movie to touch more on the political
aspect of 911 - Terrorism.

But the main focus was really on the heroism
more than the terrorism. Pro-Americanism maybe.

The director put the main focus on the people who
faced the situation on the disastrous day itself.
At that point, i don't think people will really care
what caused the crash but rather to save as many
people as possible.

Some people might feel that they should film more on the
people who died. But i think the idea was.. the dead can't
live to tell the story that's why the main focus were on
the survivors?

Anyway, i like the acting from the two female leads.
The emotional roller-coaster acting from them was good.
I was wondering why they didn't get better looking male leads
when the two female leads were quite good-looking (esp Allison)

Maggie Gyllenhaal as Will Jimeno's wife, Allison

Maria Bello as John McLoughlin's wife, Donna

Later i figured that.. the male leads' faces were covered
in debris and rubble almost 80% of the film so they might as
well get good looking female leads instead! muahahaha..
