The Sucky Industry

Guests book for hotel in Paris,
not after they have done lotsa changes and amendment.

Their flight is arriving late at nite and asks for early check-in.
Supplier in London asked to book a day earlier.
So we did as told.

10 Sep 06, guests suppose to check-in.
BY RIGHT, they should be able to check-in
any time from 10 Sep 06, 2pm to 11 Sep 06, 12pm.

At 8am++, guests unable to check-in cos room has been
released as hotel had take it that the guests aren't showing up.
Representing agent in Singapore called to screw us.
Must be cos guests called from Paris to screw Singapore agent.

Now.... going 11am Paris time.............
- Guests say they are not gonna pay for this booking.
- Hotel in Paris still do not want to let guests check-in.
- Supplier in London still didn't do anything.
- We are still screwed by agent in Singapore.

GREAT!!!!!!
No standard practice, no nothing.
Even if there is, it can be changed
due to high occupancy and all the nonsense excuses.
Everything is by right, you should, theoretically,
hotel has the right......

Conclusion: Leafie really don't like this industry.
