Day Two - 07.08.06
6.30am, Thailand time. I woke up.
Yes, very early right. Singapore time is 7.30am lor.
Bio-clock wake up time. Sick! Even in Phuket gotta
wake up at the time i wake up when i go to work!
Anyway, i slept an hour more and when i woke up,
the first thing i did was to open up the glass door in front of the balcony.
IT'S LIKE THE BEST MORNING VIEW I EVER SEEN! 是美的咯﹗﹗
The beautiful beach, the sound of the waves, the morning sun,
the peaceful pool. It's just........... BEAUTIFUL!
I woke my brother up and he agreeed it was: 是美的咯﹗﹗

So after that it was off to breakfast...
Breakfast spread by Kata Beach Resort was not too bad.
A mix of everything. I had fried rice with some other stuff and
got chided by my bro and friends for saying i have a great appetite -.-

Then it was off to THE BEACH!
I think the crowd at Kata Beach was relatively ok.
A mix of youngsters, families and some old ang moh couples.
Not what i expected of Phuket, cos according to my brother,
there were a lot of old angmoh ladies who'll have topless sunbathing.

The pool at Kata Beach Resort was not too bad.
Not a very big pool but wasn't flooded with people.
But i think the hygiene is questionable.
Cos we jumped into the pool right after playing at the beach.
Muahahha.. i think a lot of people do that also.
But i think everyone was hygiene enough to 'rinse' at the shower first.
Not much sea sports at Kata Beach though.
So after about one hour, we decided to move to another beach for sea sports.
And so we took the hotel taxi and landed at Patong.
Patong Beach..... is NOT NICE!
The beach ain't clean and it's got too many people.
It's a vast difference compared to Kata.

Though there were some sea sports, it's not exactly cheap also.
Banana boat for 15mins is 300 baht per pax = SGD 12.00
Jetski is 1000 baht per half hour = SGD 42.00
We did play on the jetski for half an hour and
two of my friends did manicure and pedicure there.
So we had lunch and after that shopped for a while
and headed back to Kata Beach.

Thought of the day:
Next time if i go to Phuket again, playing in the
beach and pool and getting the sun is good enough.
I won't move to a dirtier beach for sea sports ever again.
