I've a new colleague, she's 55 years old or around there.
Cheerful and optimistic person.
No signs of menopausing,
Or at least no menopausing attitude from her so far.
My boss likes calling her "Auntie".
I said he was mean to call her that.
Then he'll say: "But she's really Auntie! You know how old is she?"
I replied: "Ya la, but don't have to call people Auntie mah."
My other colleague told me this today:
"Yesterday she funny leh.. Sam called her on the hp hor,
then he got some prob with the system.. then she hang up
liao then she come n ask me la.. then i asked her back a qns..
she also dunno then she said:
'wait ar.. auntie help you find out, auntie help you find out'
then she call Sam."
Muhahahaha.. Now i know why my boss call her Auntie!
I think she's a happy person and a keen learner despite her age.
She's always the first to come in for work and she'll take the effort
to learn our system and understand the operations.
Unlike my ex-boss and manager who likes to say:
"I'm in the industry ah.. I know..........." -.- Crap -.-
I hope i'll be like Auntie when i'm 55.
Still keen to learn. Optimistic. Taking things in stride.
and most importantly..
Not bossing things around or claiming veteran despite being 55!
