Pitstop Cafe

After Settlers, The Mind Cafe, Oasis etc...
there's yet another board games cafe in town....

I've never been to Oasis, cos of the location..
right in the middle of Liang Seah St -.- and don't really like the crowd there..

Anyway, i do prefer Mind Cafe over Settlers after i been to Mind Cafe.
Reason.. Mind Cafe has got better packages than Settlers.
You'll tend to spend more at Settlers.

Went Pitstop Cafe yesterday and although the location
is a bit out of the way - at Circular Rd
(my fave tcc is at the starting of the rd and Pitstop is right at the end..)
They successfully win me over with their attractively priced packages.
- $12.90 for a main course + 2hrs of gaming + friendly drink
- $10.00 for triple sundae + 2hrs of gaming + friendly drink
- $6 for an extra hr of gaming for 2 folks
and the list goes on....
(fyi, friendly drink is what they call it lah..
drinks like Ribena, Sprite, Coke etc..)

Cool thing is, u can doodle on the wall..
but of cos if their business gets too good,
u'll probably not see your doodle the next time
you go :P

Good service from a bunch of youngsters
except for one guy, not really lousy service but
he is more serious a guy i think...
The 4 youngsters (two guys, two gals) are the bosses,
they are definitley younger than me. Damn...

Finger Food is as expected, fried stuff from those frozen packages
you can get from supermarket but at least they took the
trouble to present it nicely with brocoli and carrots.
Didn't try the main course though, only MeowBE had fish & chips.
She didn't grumble.. hmmm.. should be acceptable.

In total, we spent $11 per pax for 2.5hrs of
gaming + food and drinks, not bad huh...
It's worth a going for those who are interested
in board-gaming.

Leafie gives it a 3.8 / 5 stars :)
(wanted to give a 4 but the location kinda set me back)
