For the benefit of my blog readers who dunno what's that..
It's actually Chinese music equivalent of Grammy Awards.
It has become an annual event for one of my group of frens
that we watch it together to:
^ Criticize (yes, as always... esp during the red carpet..)
^ Cheer (esp when Tanya won! woohoooooooooooo!!!~~~)
^ Cry (no la.. we dun cry but we watch the winners cry..)
^ Laugh (this yr's classic: milk squirting out of the 2 female hosts' breasts!~)
But basically, it's just a chance to gather together.
And yes... always got alcohol. This year round more tame la,
just one bottle of Baileys and didn't finish leh!
Well done, peeps!! Got improvement ;)
MeowBE announced that she's quit drinking..
*thumbs up* (we'll see if it lasts =p)
Although the three gals din win anything,
but pretty satisfied with the results this year :)
A lot of my fave singers walk away with something:
^ Cheer Chen - not exactly her, but her boyfriend won for Best Music Producer ;)
^ Penny Tai - she won Best Composer but i was hoping for Best Album actually :(
^ Leehom - YES! His second Best Male Singer trophy :)
^ Tanya Chua - YES!!! Finally!! Best Female Singer!!!!! :D
And like always, very long show with boring
segments here and there. But the performance segments
were pretty good this year and the hosts did a good job :)
Overall..
Good Show! Great Company! Relaxing Saturday!~ =)
