what an accomplishment!
Poseidon is like a hundred times nicer than Titanic!!
and to say that it's Titanic part two or number two or 2006
or Titanic whatever ... is like a total insult to Poseidon!!!
but frankly speaking, i think it's hard to compare the
two besides the fact that both are big ships running into
big trouble. Titanic was more to narrate the love between
the two main lead and Poseidon is more action-packed
with more focus on the survivors' escape and i prefer the latter
i think Poseidon is like a mirror to reality?
when in times of trouble, humans react differently
and that's the time their true self will surface.
and it's only in times of trouble that we realise
that our loved ones will always be close to our hearts,
cos when everything is fine and calm, humans tend to take
things for granted or bear little grudges with loved ones...
the main rescue hero - Dylan said this before
the group of survivors went on their escape journey.
"i work better alone.." (or something to that effect..)
after the movie ended, i suddenly recall the
above sentence.. cos if he had embarked alone,
he'll never even have survived as the survivors actually
helped each other in the process of escaping.
even the little boy did his part! but of cos lives were
lost in the process through selfishness, accident, sacrifices etc..
a really good movie on the whole, i'll give it a 8/10
oh... and my resolution this year is to watch more movies!!
yeah~ have to do more things besides ktv-ing and cafe-ing..
